The Howard Arkley exhibition at Tarrawarra Museum of Art in the Yarra Valley is excellent and I highly recommend it. I knew only the suburban house paintings and it was fascinating to see the breadth of his work. I was particularly impressed by his later paintings of the built environment featuring factories and freeways rather than suburban houses.…
